In defense applications continuous availability and maximum operational reliability are mandatory requirements for power supplies. Our energy solutions are designed for power-intensive defense and directed energy weapon applications and can be operated as both a voltage and current source.
The platform enables the direct supply of high-power laser diode bars and fibre lasers without additional external power drivers. The modular architecture supports series and parallel operation, allowing precise adaptation to specific laser voltage and current requirements. Support for AC and DC inputs enables integration into stationary, mobile and battery-based systems. The liquid-cooled design, the robust fully digital galvanically isolated interface and the double safety interlock (PLe) ensure stable and safe operation in mission-critical environments.
Easily adaptable to changing requirements
Global use - No additional mains transformer required
Suitable for dusty environments
LAPS-R system
The LAPS-R sytem comes with 3 phase universal mains input (no neutral required). The integrated safety interlock PLe according to ISO 13849-1 functionality guarantees safety, reduces cost on system level and improves system uptime.

LAPS-4000 module
The low ripple and excellent transient response, together with the features like the safety interlock [PLe] and DC input capability, makes the LAPS-4000 one of the most innovative power supply solution in the market.

The LAPS-4000 module is a compact, 4 kW power module designed for high-performance industrial applications. Engineered for scalability, multiple LAPS-4000 units can be combined to meet increasing power demands — simply add modules to scale from 4 kW up to 20 kW in a single 3U 19" system, depending on your system requirements.
"Customers have created solution e.g. connecting 40 systems (640 kW)"
The LAPS-4000 is available as a standalone module or integrated into our LAPS-R system, a rack-based configuration that consolidates multiple modules into a single, space-efficient solution.
Our LACS-R systems uses the same components as the LAPS-R, the additional current drivers (up to 8 channels) give you to possibility to drive laser diodes directly.
Designed for efficiency, reliability, and modular flexibility, the LAPS platform is ideal for OEMs seeking robust and adaptable power supply architectures.
