Production Worker for Coil Prototypes

SFC develops, manufactures and markets highly reliable standard and semi-standard high-power platform solution for demanding requirements in laser, semi-conductor manufacturing equipment and analytical applications. Furthermore, SFC co-develops and manufactures highly complex and reliable coils & linear drives for the semi-conductor manufacturing equipment and analytical applications. SFC is operating from its R&D and manufacturing locations in Almelo, The Netherlands and Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

As a Production Worker of Coil Prototypes, you will be part of the Platform Development Team, and together with your engineer colleagues, you will develop prototypes for the Coils and Linear Drives division, meeting clients’ requirements.
The production process includes several stages, where you will be directly involved in processes like: winding, assembly of electronic elements, and casting.

• involved in the daily development process of product prototypes; • suggesting and implementing solutions to improve the assembly of these products, based on your experience in the field; • working quickly and efficiently to implement solutions thought out with the team for products to be developed; • providing relevant process-related information to NPI and Design Engineers, to help create technical drawings and work procedures; • checking, testing, and measuring with specific tools the mechanical and electronic components used; • analyzing the cause and proposing appropriate measures to remedy defects, in case they appear; • ensuring the proper functioning of the equipment, and its maintenance. • maintaining the workspace safe by following the internal standards regarding organization and cleanliness.
• technical educational background or diploma (electromechanics, electrical, electronics); • experience in assembling equipment or assembly for the technical field; • previous experience in the execution of prototypes/samples, unique products or projects, in the technical field, is considered an advantage; • elementary knowledge of electrical functioning/ electronics; • elementary knowledge of appropriate measuring instruments for the field; • ability to read a technical drawing; • you are dexterous, patient, attentive regarding work tasks, creative and a problem-solver; • you have English skills at a medium level; • have availability to travel to the Netherlands, to learn processes and transfer them to Romania.
