Head of Operations (Power Supply Solutions)

Entity: SFC Energy Power SRL

The position of Head of Operations is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to play a significant role in the power supply industry. We’re looking for a Head of Operations to lead and oversee our Power Supply Solutions division’s daily operations.

You will be in charge of strengthening and supervising supplies, production, and sales to meet the company’s market share and profit targets through successful operations management, from order intake to delivery of goods and related services.

You will collaborate closely with the Operations Director and the Head of Platform Development, with the primary goal of meeting budget and cost targets while striving with a dedicated team for operational excellence.

What are your responsibilities?

• Design and implement actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short and long-term objectives of the company;
• Guide Operations for Power Supply Solutions following QLTC targets and identify areas for improvement;
• Know the production plan and take all actions to achieve the plan in quantity, quality, and productivity with minimum costs;
• Ensure that priorities and deadlines are followed to reach the requested delivery-performance;
• Implement strategies to raise performance;
• Ensure yearly budget is achieved within set KPIs and QLTC targets;
• Secure smooth transition from Initial Sales/Product Development to Operations by close cooperation with Head Platform Development;
• Lead the team to encourage maximum performance, transmitting a sense of belongingness and dedication to be part of the business;
• Encourage team members to share knowledge and grow personally;
• Prepare and secure internal and external audits.

What should your background look like?

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering – Technical University;
• (+) 3 years prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
• Strong leadership skills in managing multiple roles within a team;
• Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills to partner effectively with key Partners and stakeholders, internally and externally;
• Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques;
• Strength in motivation, communication, and assertiveness, as well as change management;
• High analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with very good time and self-management;
• Strong accountability over the results and ability to work autonomously;
• Knowledge of business functions and solid knowledge of data analytics;
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint) and in-depth knowledge of ERP systems (eg. SAP);
• Excellent speaking and written skills in English (C1);
• Willingness to travel occasionally between Cluj (the main location) and Almelo (The Netherlands) or to key stakeholders.
