SFC is operating from its R&D and manufacturing locations in Almelo, The Netherlands and Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
SW Test Engineer
As a SW Test Engineer you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of testing protocols and testing methods, as well as researching new testing approaches in order to ensure product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering test protocols, testing methods, testing equipment, and testing tools that meet product specifications and quality standards within the required timeline and budget;
- Monitoring and introducing new technologies in the testing area;
- Testing products in order to reduce the risk of issues during the production phase;
- Creating instructions for new testing protocols and implementing modifications for existing ones – work methods for engineers and production operators;
- Interacting with Product Management, Project Management, and Development teams in order to understand the project and testing objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field;
- Minimum 2 years of experience with LabVIEW and test benches/testing systems;
- Knowledge of C, C#, and Python;
- Hardware knowledge related to power conversion and electrical measurements;
- Ability to work with specific testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power meters, and electronic loads;
- Ability to independently perform testing and measurements on electronic circuits;
- Good problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills;
- Independent, accurate, flexible, and proactive working style;
- Good communication and collaboration skills;
- English – advanced level;
- Good Microsoft Office and ERP knowledge.
