Furthermore, SFC co-develops and manufactures highly complex and reliable coils & linear drives for the semi-conductor manufacturing equipment and analytical applications. SFC is operating from its R&D and manufacturing locations in Almelo, The Netherlands and Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
During your internship you will:
Conduct a gap analysis: assess how our current practices align (or don’t) with the 5xBeter framework’s*.
Develop a tailored roadmap for embedding 5xBeter across departments / teams
Create tools, checklists, and training materials for staff to use
Organize and give toolbox meetings to train SFC Almelo staff.
Gather feedback, continuously iterate and scale the implementation approach
Document best practices, successes, challenges, and recommendations for future implementation phases
* 5xBeter is the Branch specific agreement between representatives of employers and employees on how to prevent or reduce safety risks. Focus areas are physical strain, hazardous substances, welding fumes, machine safety, harmful noise, risk of falling and new employees.
What should your background look like:
You are enrolled in a relevant study (e.g. Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Engineering, Environment & Safety, Process Management or similar)
You want to learn more about workplace safety, continuous improvement, and organizational change
You can translate technical/safety content into clear, usable formats
You like to engage with people across all levels (shop floor, management, support staff)
You’re comfortable with training (toolbox), data collection, monitoring and reporting
You are self-driven, creative and hands-on
