We are looking for a

Test Hardware Engineer

Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania

What is the purpose of your job?

You develop, build and maintain test systems for SFC Power Supplies.

Your role will be:

• debug/verify electrical connections for SFC designed test equipment
• design electrical schematics (power, control & safety)
• design block diagrams
• search for suitable test equipment and prepare a bill of materials
• prepare documentation
• assemble and coordinate the assembly of SFC designed test equipment
• improve processes & procedures related to your work
• support production/quality on technical issues

What we expect?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering
• experience with debugging, repairing, and building electronic and electrical circuits
• to be able to work with test or lab equipment, like power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, loads, power analyzers, etc.
• performing electrical measurements
• understand and quickly apply new technologies
• deal with complex technical issues and provide timely solutions
• to understand electrical schematics and power supply, power converters’ basic topology, and functionality
• be organized and have strong logical thinking
• communicative and self-motivated
• English level C1
