We are looking for a

System Engineer

Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania

Your SFC spirit?

Be the person to bring the designed product (consisting of multiple custom parts) into a ready for series product.

Your role:

  • plan and migrate the products from the released file server to the new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
  • as System Engineer, you are responsible to implement and maintain the backbone software for the R&D team (Planning and Documentation Management)
  • the backbone starts with the setup of a component database, which is the link between PLM and CAD
  • create procedures & training for the following:
    –creating components
    –create change procedures, ex. how to change a design and how this is linked with our revision management
    –align with Electronic and Mechanical engineers regarding the workflow and way of working. Then take their feedback in a workflow/procedure
  • you will be a key user in different planning and documentation systems

What we expect?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering
  • minimum of 2 years of experience in a related position or in a position in which you handled project/product documentation
  • communication Requirements:
    — communicative and can explain functionality.
    — clear and to the point communication when presenting options and related advantages and disadvantages.
  • required attitude: precise, understand the root cause, quality first
  • experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Jira, and SAP is considered an advantage.
  • English level C1
