We are looking for a/an:

Software Test Engineer


Location: Cluj-Napoca
Entity: SFC Energy Power SRL

As a Software Test Engineer, you will be part of our Research and Development Team. You will create and maintain test protocols and test equipment for SFC power supplies.


What are your responsibilities?

• Develop new test sequences using the latest Lab View and Test Stand versions using the test specification from the old test or creating new ones, based on the product specifications, to build the test sequence;
• Use different communication protocols to communicate with test equipment;
• Update or duplicate test interfaces; this will be properly documented and stored on the server;
• Create missing documents, like test procedure, bill of materials, wiring diagram, connection drawing, and test sequence reviews;
• Identify problems with the test system and debug them.


What should your background look like?

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering – Technical University (technical background);
• At least 2 years of previous experience with Lab View and Test Stand are required; we also offer a Test Stand mentorship to help you learn the company’s methods; Lab View Core1+2+3 Training and Test Stand Core1 Training are considered advantages;
• Knowledge of different communication protocols;
• Good understanding of electrical schematics and power supply, power converters, basic topology, and functionality;
• Experience with test or lab equipment like power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, loads, and power analyzers; Experience with Python;
• Experience with test equipment is considered an advantage;
• Microsoft Office Package knowledge;
• You have an independent way of working and the motivation to proactively find solutions;
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
• Demonstrate strong organizational and logical thinking skills;
• Practical knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
