Sales Account Manager

Location: Almelo, the Netherlands

What is the purpose of your job?

You contribute to achieving optimal sales figures for the overall sales plan of our product groups. You manage existing accounts and try to increase the business. You are pro-active regarding (technical) requirements, wishes, needs, and problems of (potential) customers.
Besides this, you perform acquisition by approaching potential customers in specific market segments and/or applications. You will prepare quotations and negotiate terms of delivery and prices. Further, you advise on products, services and conditions, and monitor and execute the after-sales service.
You ensure up-to-date knowledge of the market and competition. You prepare for and participate in trade fairs, providing (product) presentations and mailings. Make visit and sales reports.

What do we expect?

You are an ambassador of our corporate identity. Therefore, we expect you to:

  • > 2 years experience/background in sales and business development; preferably in an (international) technical environment and possesses Hunter and Farmer qualities
  • You are passionate and you are eager to learn

  • You are able to communicate strongly, verbally and non-verbally
  • You can develop relationships across functional teams and customers because of your interpersonal skills
  • You are innovative, take initiative and think outside the box
  • You enjoy a fast-paced environment and dare to take risks

  • In addition, you are enjoying a dynamic and diverse role and taking initiative
  • You have experience with CRM software, preferably SalesForce
