We are looking for a

QA/QC Manager


Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania

Division: Power Supply Solutions

As Quality Assurance & Quality Control Manager, it will be your responsibility to ensure that our company’s output continually complies with all quality standards (Perform, Delegate, and Lead). You will be in charge of our quality systems for the Power Supply Solutions division. You will aim for zero deviations and ongoing service quality improvement. Monitoring and regulating (acting on) domain-specific functional knowledge will be essential in this regard. This involves performing analyses and a consistent approach to mitigating problems. To achieve this, you will work closely with the Repair Centre and Sustaining Department team leaders. Together with your team, you’ll strive continuously to enhance processes, procedures, and controls (QMS).


In your role you will:

• Compile all applicable SFC requirements, such as general: process, product, legal, safety, and market-specific requirements, and develop detailed guidelines on what needs to be checked and the quality standards;
• Continue to improve test philosophy and its implementation throughout the organization and the supply chain;
• Define quality metrics for all manufacturing procedures and ensure that all relevant requirements for developed products are communicated to the manufacturer;
• Ensure that production meets specifications, monitor the entire manufacturing cycle, and perform regular tests to detect potential flaws as early as possible;
• Inspect and test materials, equipment, systems, processes, and products to ensure they meet quality standards (factory tours may be required);
• Investigate and troubleshoot product or production difficulties, determine the root cause of technical problems, and recommend solutions;
• Prepare and present reports to update upper management on quality activities;
• Lead the team to achieve optimal performance by instilling a sense of belonging and commitment to the organization;
• Plan and coordinate internal and external audits;
• Represent the organization with external stakeholders, including auditors, authorities, suppliers, and customers.


What your background should look like:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering (electronics is a plus);
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related field within an EMS organization;
• Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role;
• Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies;
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP);
• Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving abilities (8D, 5why knowledge is a plus);
• Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods;
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, with outstanding communication skills;
• Great attention to detail and a results-driven approach;
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Willingness to travel internationally on occasion to visit key suppliers and clients.
