We are looking for a

Product Introduction Engineer

Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania

What is the purpose of your job?

Be the person to bring the designed product (consisting of multiple custom parts) into a ready for series production.

A day in the life of an NPI Engineer

  • transfer design data into TPD (Technical Product Documentation),
  • initiate the ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Request) process of new custom parts
  • have an up to date in our ERP system (SAP) and in PLM (Omnify)
  • support prototype building
  • have meetings with the project team(s), on the progress of the project
  • have meetings with the supplier(s) for ESI (Early Supplier Involvement

What we expect?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering
  • minimum 2 years’ experience in a related position
  • technical requirements: knowledge of HW e.g. how is a PCB produced, which processes are needed to manufacture mechanical parts
  • communication requirements: together with the project team realize the QLTC targets
  • required attitude: precise, understand the root cause, quality first
  • English level C1
