Junior Operational Buyer

Furthermore, SFC co-develops and manufactures highly complex and reliable coils & linear drives for the semi-conductor manufacturing equipment and analytical applications. SFC is operating from its R&D and manufacturing locations in Almelo, The Netherlands and Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania
We are currently recruiting a Junior Operational Buyer in Cluj to support the Operations Team from our headquarters in Brunnthal, Germany. As an Operational Buyer, you ensure the supply of our production sites so that our products can be manufactured without interruption. In this regard, you are responsible for the procurement of company necessities. You will be in close contact with our partners and suppliers to assure deliverables as a key person that maintains and grows relationships between companies. We highly appreciate a long-term and stable relationship with our suppliers. Therefore, you will play an essential role in the development of our supplier relationships by building professional and trusting relationships with our partners.
• You review existing framework agreement orders and deliver them to vendors. The quantity demand/suggestions would be automatically created as a disposition/proposal from our ERP system (Pro Alpha and SAP); • You carefully compare the order confirmation to the purchase order and enter it into the ERP system; • You submit requests to approved vendors and negotiate them for our indirect material requirements; • You monitor the confirmed delivery date and guarantee that the goods arrive at SFC on time; • You accurately check the invoices, before you direct them to the finance department for payment; in case of a mismatch, you align with the supplier; • You take responsibility for maintaining and correcting master data in our ERP systems; • You clarify existing issues with your team supervisor or directly with the appropriate strategic buyer.
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management or a related field; • A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a similar position in an international environment; • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc), and ERP systems (SaP/Proalpha is a plus); • Good English communication skills (both oral and written); German helpful, not a must; • Good communication and persuasion skills overall; • Self-motivated, team player, and capable of taking on operational responsibility; • A critical thinker, with good analytical skills, a creative problem solver, and high flexibility; • Ability to maintain attention to detail and accuracy while working under deadlines; • Willingness to travel, occasionally, to our location in Brunnthal (Germany) and/or to external stakeholders;
