We are looking for a/an:

Hardware Electronic Engineer (Change Process)


Location: Cluj-Napoca

As HW Electronic Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical assessment of change proposals from the ECR (Engineering Change Request), making sure they meet the modified product specifications and also to test, evaluate and maintain electronic systems and components.


What are your responsibilities?

• Work on ECR (Engineering Change Requests) – a systematic approach to the documentation of changes starting from the identification of the required change, through planning and implementing the change, and culminating with closing the issue.
• Perform changes / reviews of the technical product documentation based on supplier requests, customer and internal requirements;
• Review, analyze and offer suitable solutions to technical queries;
• Improve internal and external processes for released products;
• Provide technical support and suitable solutions to the most complex technical challenges; provide recommendations to stakeholders through appropriate channels;
• Prepare documentation and engineering specifications according to company standards;
• Checking, changing and testing obsolete components;
• Knowledge to design, develop, evaluate, and maintain electronic systems and components;
• Ensure the documentation of products is accurate, consistent and well-maintained;
• Review and recommend changes to existing designs to improve performance and quality.
• Collaborate, communicate and align activities together with our Supply chain organization / Sales department to provide technical support and expertise in a timely manner.


What should your background look like?

Who you are:
• Technical background: BSc / MSc degree in Engineering, Automation, Electronics, Telecommunications or equivalent;
• Intermediate/advanced experience transferring data to an ERP software;
• Create, maintain and update engineering related aspects (e.g. bill of materials);
• Microsoft Office Package knowledge:
• Experience with power supplies or coils is considered an advantage;
• Expertise in the know-how of electrical components, parts, systems and circuits;
• Selects new parts taking into consideration obsolescence;
• Knowledge of the following tools: Altium, Eagle is considered an advantage;
• Experience using 3D CAD design software (e.g. SolidWorks) is advantageous, although not mandatory.
Mandatory linguistic competencies:
• Advanced English level – C1
