Hardware Electronic Engineer (Change Process)

SFC is operating from its R&D and manufacturing locations in Almelo, The Netherlands and Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

As HW Electronic Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical assessment of change proposals from the ECR (Engineering Change Request), making sure they meet the modified product specifications and also to test, evaluate and maintain electronic systems and components.
• Manage ECR (Engineering Change Requests) through a structured process, documenting changes from the identification phase to planning, implementation, and final resolution; • Coordinate and assist in designing new and existing Power supplies in order to meet the lifecycle management requirements of the product line. Evaluate, update, change and perform qualification report measurements to validate the alternative(s); • Propose optimizations in the manufacturing process and other manufacturing related activities; • Modify and review technical product documentation in response to supplier, customer, and internal requirements; • Assess, analyze, and propose effective solutions for technical inquiries; • Continuously improve internal and external processes for released products; • Offer technical support and devise solutions for complex technical challenges, providing recommendations to stakeholders through appropriate communication channels; • Prepare documentation and engineering specifications in accordance with company standards; • Support internal projects by providing technical assistance and solutions to complex challenges; • Ensure that product documentation is accurate, consistent, and well-maintained; • Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Sales departments to align activities and provide timely technical support and expertise.
• Technical background: BSc / MSc degree in Engineering, Automation, Electronics, Telecommunications or equivalent; • Intermediate/advanced experience transferring data to an ERP software; • Create, maintain and update engineering related aspects (e.g. bill of materials); • Strong base knowledge in electronics theory: semiconductors, convertors (AC/DC, DC/DC) power supply topologies; • Good knowledge of electronic measurements techniques: signal measurements (frequency, voltage, current) temperature measurements and other required tests; • Knowledge of the following tools: Altium, Eagle is considered an advantage; • Experience using 3D CAD design software (e.g. SolidWorks) is advantageous, although not mandatory; • Advanced English level – C1; • Strong analytical skills; • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and ensure follow-through; • Ability to approach challenges with a positive, flexible, and proactive attitude; • Possess exceptional attention to detail and have excellent research abilities and interpersonal skills; • Take full ownership of your tasks and projects; • Passionate about innovation, decision making, monitoring, flexibility, analytical thinking and continuous improvement; • Microsoft Office Package knowledge.

Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel to our sister Companies in NL or D. Keen for new experience, responsibility, to develop new skills and expand knowledge base.
