We are looking for a

Change Process & Technical Documentation Engineer


Location: Cluj-Napoca

As a Change Process and Product Engineer, you will be part of our Sustaining Team and undertake the change management process. You will be responsible of the technical assessment of change proposals from the ECN’s (Engineering Change Notes), making sure they meet the modified product specifications.


Your role you will be:

• Working on ECNs (Engineering Change Notes) to modify components and functions for the released products;
• Changing product documentation based on supplier request, customer, and internal requirements;
• Checking, replacing, and testing obsolete components;
• Working closely with electronic/mechanical engineers and other technical experts to gather information and understand complex technical concepts;
• Modifying the engineering documentation in compliance with the change process requirements and technical specifications (equipment mechanical data sheets, noise controls functional specification etc.);
• Identifying, formulating, and producing effective solutions to emerging problems;
• Performing improvement in internal and external processes, as well as in released products;
• Providing technical support in the design and development of electronic systems;
• Preparing design documentation and engineering specifications according to company standards;
• Reviewing and recommending changes to existing designs to improve performance and quality;
• Designing, inspecting, testing, and updating electronic systems, components, and equipment.


What should your background look like?

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering – Technical University (technical background);
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position;
• Electronic and mechanical knowledge applied to previous experience;
• Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Solid Works, and other mechanical design software);
• Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, and materials science;
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner;
• Experience transferring data to an ERP software;
• Experience with power supplies or coils is considered an advantage;
• Microsoft Office Package knowledge;
• Knowledge of the following tools: Altium, Eagle, and CAD is considered an advantage;
• English advanced level – C1.
